Hip Fracture

A neck of femur fracture (also called a hip fracture) Is a break in the upper part of the thigh bone (femur) just below the ball of the hip joint. This injury is most common in older adults after a fall, but can also occur in younger people after high-impact trauma, or as stress fractures from repetitive minor trauma.

Patella Fracture

A patella fracture is a break in the kneecap, the small bone at the front of the knee, it protects the joint and helps with straightening the leg. These injuries usually happen from a direct blow to the knee (such as a fall or accident) or from a sudden strong contraction of the thigh muscles.
